Syria – a case for Inspector Knacker?

If, as the UK foreign secretary says, the state-sanctioned killing of Syrian civilians amounts to “mass murder”, and English law allows for the prosecution of offences committed abroad, surely there is one form of intervention that we could pursue in the short term: the issuing and execution of an arrest warrant on fragrant Acton lass and accessory to murder Asma al-Assad during one of her shopping trips to London. Just don’t mess with her hair.
