Former Sun editor and current rentagob Kelvin MacKenzie has demanded an apology from South Yorkshire Police for the “vilification” he received following the Hillsborough tragedy. Still smarting from the doorstepping received recently from Channel 4 News reporter Alex Thomson, I see.
MacKenzie complains about the “collateral damage” suffered, and the “mortal danger” were he to set foot in Liverpool. The blame lies soley with the police and a Sheffield local news agency, says the churnalist-in-chief who overruled junior colleagues and penned the memorable Hillsborough headline “The Truth”, which vilified an entire city.
Calm down there ey, Kelvin la, calm down!
