Tomorrow, my Lord Mithras willing, I shall be out for much of the day leading a potentially huge number of cyclists on a jolly jaunt around London. In recent years we have had up to 100 punters on the Mithrasmas Mass, but this year the ride has attracted more publicity than usual, including a feature on BBC Radio London, and the promise of movie stardom. Goodness knows how many will turn up tomorrow, even with a weather forecast that shows everything but snow and ice.
Anyways, given that I will be rather busy tomorrow, I shall issue my seasonal greeting today…
Whatever you and your loved ones are doing over Christmas, take it easy, and be nice to each other. Right now I’m recovering from a hit and run collision yesterday in central London, and some appallingly rude and selfish behaviour in the local supermarket this afternoon. This evening I may give my “Love Actually” DVD another spin. Peace and goodwill? Piss and wind.
