Cycle ride: Locks, Docks & One Smoking Ferry, Sunday 12 May 2013

Following Monday’s 120 kilometre epic, my next ride for the Dog & Bell Crew will be a short and leisurely London loop, being a variation on the late Barry Mason’s Locks, Docks and One Smoking Ferry ride. Only 45 kilometres or thereabouts (70 Li), but still worth getting out of bed for.

Starting at Cutty Sark Gardens, there will a coffee break at Woolwich Arsenal, a lunch stop at Fat Boy’s Diner on Trinity Buoy Wharf, and a short extension into the City of London, where we will cross the River Thames for the second time via the Wobbly Bridge That Wobbleth No More. We will then head east toward Tower Bridge, and join the Thames Path southside at Butler’s Wharf. The ride could if we so decide end with a lubrication stop at the Dog & Bell Crew’s HQ.

RSVP, but it’s OK to turn up unannounced on the day.
